A Georgian Traditional Song & Dance

Updated: Jul 31

If you're looking for an opportunity to have the most entertaining meal in Georgia, look no further then Ethno Tsiskvili restaurant on Beliashvili Street, Dighomi district.

It's best to make reservations in advance, as they fill up nightly. Performances start every night between 7:30-8:00 PM and go until late. The restaurant offers many traditional Georgian dishes, wine, cocktails, and delicious desserts.

The restaurant's name holds a special meaning related to its history. The word “tsiskvili” in Georgian means watermill. Back in the 90's, the restaurant's original building was an old watermill.

They have several other locations throughout Tbilisi, but none feature both dancing and singing performances nightly. The decor of the restaurant is so beautiful from the waterfall, to the scenic river views, to the cavernous descent.

Once the singing starts, the room echos with drums and harmony. The dancing is varied, and each performance is unique. My friends and I could not get enough, highly recommended to those with visitors coming to town or for tourists looking for a unique cultural experience.
